Yes, Woodland has an alarm ordinance that requires every home or business with an alarm system to obtain a permit. Permits cost $75.00 for new/first time permits. Alarm permit renewal fee is $49.00 per year or $141.00 for three years. The ordinance is designed to reduce false alarms. An additional $106.00 fee is charged per false alarm in excess of 2 false alarms per 30 days, 3 false alarms per 90 days or more than 5 false alarms per 180 days.
